Q: What are the differences between the Gavita Pro RS 2400e LED 208–480V and previous generation models?
A: The new RS 2400e V2 runs at 750W versus 800W on prior models, offering higher efficiency (3.2 µmol/J vs. 3.0 µmol/J) and reduced heat. It also features a broad-range driver (208–480V), simplifying installation across different power infrastructures compared to the narrower voltage ranges of earlier models.
Q: Is the efficiency the same as the old version?
A: No — the RS 2400e is more efficient. It delivers 3.2 µmol/J compared to 3.0 µmol/J previously, and reaches peak efficiency of 3.4 µmol/J when dimmed to 40%.
Q: Is the voltage range the same?
A: No — the previous generation operated at 120–277V, while the RS 2400e now supports a wider 208–480V range. For 120V applications, a buck boost transformer is recommended.
Q: Is the spectrum the same?
A: Yes — the RS 2400e maintains the same proven full-spectrum output.
Q: What comes in the box?

We offer free shipping on all orders over $200 shipped to addresses within the continental United States. Orders under $200 will have shipping calculated at checkout. There are no hidden fees or handling charges. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay.

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday). If an item is temporarily backordered or delayed, we’ll notify you by email with an updated shipping estimate.

Delivery and Moving Disclaimer
Please note: We do not offer moving or installation services. For freight shipments or large items, carriers are only responsible for curbside delivery. Drivers are not required to move items inside your home, up stairs, or to specific locations. We strongly recommend having assistance available at the time of delivery for heavy or bulky shipments.
Address Accuracy & Order Changes
