TrolMaster (CDA-1) Carbon-X CO₂ Alarm System
TrolMaster’s Carbon-X system delivers essential CO₂ monitoring for up to 13 individual zones or rooms, helping maintain safety in environments where supplemental CO₂ is used. The system supports both high-level (up to 30,000ppm) and low-level (5,000ppm) alerts. These thresholds are adjustable, allowing users to set them according to local codes and safety requirements for indoor CO₂ use.
In addition to monitoring, the Carbon-X can manage equipment such as ventilation fans, dampers, and CO₂ valves, and can also interface with fire alarm panels to send alerts to emergency services. Automatic CO₂ shutoff is achieved by wiring the facility’s primary CO₂ solenoid in-line with one of the control modules. Settings for each connected device are fully customizable for flexible operation.
Each area monitored by the Carbon-X system must include an audio-visual alarm, which clearly notifies staff of current CO₂ levels and whether it’s safe to enter the space.
The system is compatible with the TrolMaster mobile app, which provides remote access and sends notifications if CO₂ readings rise above the set limits.
At the core of the Carbon-X system is the CDA-1, the main controller that coordinates all monitoring and safety responses within the system.

The Hydro-X series is a professional-grade and modular designed environmental control system, that supports most of the control modules and sensors within a single growing zone, and also allows flexible customization and further expansion.
Shared Functions
There are 3 different Hydro-X models: Hydro-X / Hydro-X Plus / Hydro-X Pro, to satisfy the needs of different types of growers. All the Hydro-X systems can control most of the horticultural lighting systems in the market by using different lighting adapters. 2 separate built-in lighting control channels offer controllability on 2 different lighting systems at the same time. The PPFD level could be automatically adjusted followed by the PPFD PAR meter.
The Hydro-X controllers are compatible with most of the devices needed in a grow room. For instance, HVAC systems, mini-split AC, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, CO2, fans, timers, and more. Once connected to the sensor and the Hydro-X controller, users are able to program the control modules followed by the data from the sensor, so as to create the best environment for your crops.
All the sensors and control modules can be connected to the Hydro-X controller by simply using a standard RJ12 cable and RJ12 splitters. The modules are “daisy-chained” together using the RJ-12 cables allowing for flexible installation, and future expansion.
